My wife paid the extra $$$ to get a reputable brand dishwasher I would say 3 - 4 years ago from Masters. Worked fine for the first 2 years then rack supports started to break as did the front plate. I am the one who opens and closes the dishwasher and I have been very gentle realising the front plate was only plastic. Not long after the front plate broke the Half Load button fell out and last night the dishwasher won’t turn on at all. Very disappointing after spending the extra to keep my wife’s mind at ease. After reading all of the reviews it seems I will be looking for a new done.

So, it appears that these dishwashers have a definite problem with the control board. Like almost everybody else below my dishwasher just wouldn't work one day after 4 years of pretty casual use.
